BooksterIntegrations: Connect AI Assistants to Bookster Bookster now includes an MCP server, the standard way for AI assistants such as Claude to connect securely to other software. Once connected from the new Connected Apps tab, your assistant can look up bookings, summarise booking value and damage deposits, and search guest messages by date, author or stage of stay. Connections are read-only and respect each user's permissions, so financial figures and guest contact details are only shared with users who are allowed to see them, and the consent screen tells you exactly what an app will see. Property Health Checks We've introduced a set of automatic health checks that spot problems before they cost you bookings. Bookster can now flag properties whose rates or availability are running out, short gaps between bookings that can't be sold under your current rules, channel connection issues, and listings whose content hasn't been refreshed for a while. These checks are available through the API and AI assistant connection now, and will be appearing in the console soon. Account Security: Passkeys and Safer Sign-in You can now add a passkey to your account, letting you sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN instead of a password. Setting up two-factor authentication has been simplified, password reset links now expire after an hour, and you'll be emailed whenever your password or email address changes. Resetting a password also disconnects any connected apps, and guest area logins are now rate-limited to stop repeated guessing. A Faster, More Modern Bookster Although you might not notice immediately, a large part of the console has been rebuilt using modern technology, making pages quicker to load and more responsive. The dashboard timeline, booking page, rates editor, extras, message shortcuts, invoices and the create booking wizard have all been refreshed. The quick search now lets you sort bookings by when they were booked, by arrival or by departure, and advanced filters update in place without reloading the page. Channels: Commission, Reviews and More Reliable Syncing Airbnb and Booking.com bookings now show the channel's commission for users who can see financial information, and Airbnb reviews can be viewed and written directly from the booking. Every reservation update received from a channel is now recorded and applied in order, so a late-arriving older update can no longer overwrite a newer one. Bookster also respects Airbnb's photo upload limits more carefully, and staff are alerted if dates can't be blocked on a channel. Minor Updates and Bug Fixes Booking Messages Conversation bubbles are styled by type (channel, direct, assistant or note), show the source's logo, and display properly on mobile phones. Booking A booking's history now records how its payment went, including any failed balance or damage deposit payments. Booking Guests can be sent a link to their guest area through the booking's message thread. Customer Details Addresses outside the US and Canada can now use a free-text county. iCal Feed links are now signed so they can't be guessed, and you'll be prompted to replace older feed links. Owner Statements Statement settings and a property's monthly statements have been refreshed, and owner documents are re-addressed automatically if the recipient changes. Checkout Stays can be offered as far ahead as prices are available, and extras now show their price label separately. Bookster Websites Search-engine crawler controls are now applied consistently across websites. Website Visibility Hub You can now add and remove tracked keywords and view your website's backlinks. Booking.com Clearer error messages are shown when availability cannot be pushed. Extras It's now clear whether an extra's fixed price is charged per booking or per night.
