Once linked, a booking on one property will be treated as a block on all others - preventing the double-bookings that can occur when the same physical unit is listed under multiple entries. Linked properties' bookings and blocks appear on the availability calendar and on the booking timeline, so you always have the full picture in one place. The iCal feed for each property also includes blocks from its linked counterparts, keeping any connected channels in sync automatically. When creating or moving a booking, Bookster will warn you if a conflict exists on a linked property. Booking Timeline Channel Colours and Visual Improvements. The booking timeline has been updated to make it considerably easier to read at a glance. Each booking chip is now drawn in its channel's colour (direct bookings, Airbnb, Booking.com and others each get their own shade) and the channel logo appears on the chip too. When multiple bookings overlap on the same row, chips stack neatly rather than colliding. You can now zoom in and out of the timeline using Ctrl + scroll wheel, the Today button correctly re-centres the view. AI Photo Description Suggestions When editing a property's photos, Bookster can suggest a title and description for each image using AI. The suggestion is generated from the photo itself and can be accepted as-is, edited, or ignored. It is a starting point, not a replacement for your own words. Passkeys Passkeys are now offered through a short wizard that walks you through enrolling your device. Once enrolled, a passkey can sign you in to Bookster (or stand in for your two-factor authentication code) without a password. The provider logo (Face ID, Windows Hello, and so on) appears beside each passkey on the Security screen, where you can also see all devices currently signed in, rename a passkey, or remove one. Bookster will prompt you once to set up account protection if none is in place; recovery codes have been retired as part of this change. Guest Checkout Bookster clients using Stripe are eligible for an updated booking flow (ask us to enable). Booking.com Fixed an issue where empty rates were being pushed for different party sizes, which could cause incorrect availability to appear on Booking.com. Visitor Levy / Owner Statements In relation to the Scottish Visitor Levy - added a levy disbursement line to the owner invoice, kept non-editable to ensure accuracy. A stronger warning is now shown when an existing balance from a previous invoice will be used to settle a new one. Booking Every booking now shows a cost breakdown, and the breakdown is flagged if it no longer matches a finalised owner statement. September's release is headlined by a long-requested availability feature: properties that share a physical space (e.g. an annex, a linked cottage, a converted barn) can now be linked in Bookster so a bookings for one can block out availability on the others.

Alongside that, the booking timeline gets a significant visual refresh, AI-generated photo descriptions, and passkey sign-in is now available to every Bookster user through a new guided wizard.
