How much does it cost to sync with Bookster with Booking.com?

We have two integration levels for Booking.com:

  • Advanced - Synchronises your listing, pricing, availability, bookings and payments. We charge a small % fee (depending on your Bookster Plan) for use of the Channel Manager. The fee is added to your monthly subscription.
  • Basic (iCal connection) - Share availability to avoid double bookings. Free of charge.

Will Bookster create an account for me on Booking.com?

No.

Will Bookster create listings for me on Booking.com?

No. You will need to create your own listing.

Will property content in Bookster (descriptions etc.) be pushed up to Booking.com?

Yes. When using an Advanced connection, property details will be pushed up to Booking.com.

Will property details in Booking.com (descriptions etc.) be pulled into Bookster?

No. Bookster does not pull in property content from Booking.com.

How do I get more bookings on Booking.com?

Rank better on Booking.com:
1. Complete your property listing, including those special elements, like a hot tub, pool or garden.
2. Add high quality photos of inside, outdoors and the local area; a minimum of 4 per room.
3. Tag photos.
4. Add prices and availability for up to 18 months.
5. Price attractively to your market.
6. Carefully choose cancellation policies.
7. Respond to ALL reviews in a professional and timely manner.
8. Log into your Booking.com account regularly, even if your Property Management Software undertakes activities for you.

Can I list my holiday rental on Booking.com?

Yes! We can help you do that.

How do I reply to Booking.com guest questions?

You can view photos and messages from guests and reply to them within the client's booking in Bookster. No need to log into Booking.com :)

Can Bookster accept Virtual Credit Card (VCC) payments?

Yes, Bookster automatically charges VCCs on the date permitted by Booking.com.

Can I change the date that Bookster charges my guests' Virtual Credit Cards (VCCs)?

No, Booking.com specifies the date that Bookster can charge the VCC. This is dependent on a number of factors, including your cancellation policies.

How do I connect my booking.com account to a Channel Manager / PMS?

The Channel Manager / Software Channel Onboarding Team will talk you through the process and answer your questions. This will start by requesting the connection via Booking.com Extranet, and then the Channel Manager / Software Onboarding Team will connect the accounts behind the scenes.

Can I manage messaging, automation and reporting for my Booking.com listings inside the Channel Manager, or will I still need to log into Booking.com daily?

Some Channel Managers have built in messaging, automation and reporting into their system, so you can manage it all in one place within your Channel Manager, without needing to log in and out of all your channels.
