How much does it cost to sync with Bookster with Vrbo?

We have two integration levels for Vrbo:

  • Premium - Synchronises your listing, pricing, availability, bookings and payments. We charge a small % fee (depending on your Bookster Plan) for the use of the Channel Manager. The fee is added to your monthly subscription.
  • Basic (iCal connection) - Synchronises availability to avoid double bookings.

Will Bookster create an account for me on Vrbo?

No.

Will Bookster create listings for me on Vrbo?

Yes. Bookster can create a listing for you.

Will property content in Bookster (descriptions etc.) be pushed up to Vrbo?

Yes. When using a Premium connection, property details will be pushed up to Vrbo.

Will property details in Vrbo (descriptions etc.) be pulled into Bookster?

No. Bookster does not pull in property content from Vrbo.

Can you list more than one property on Vrbo?

Yes, you can list more than one property on Vrbo.
Once you have onboarded with Vrbo, you can add your properties to your Vrbo account, and start taking bookings.

How do I add a property to Vrbo?

To add a property to Vrbo:
1. Set up an account with Bookster and add your property listing information.
2. Join Vrbo by clicking on the Channel Manager menu in Bookster.
3. Bookster clients can use the self-service Onboarding URL to match up Properties in Vrbo.
4. Vrbo team will be in touch to finalise the connection and make your property live on Vrbo.

Do I need to be VAT registered to use a Channel Manager with Vrbo?

Vrbo require you to be operating as what they consider a 'Professional'. One way to indicate this is to be VAT registered. However there are other forms of proof such as company numbers and/or Tax Identifiers that will also satisfy Vrbo's requirements.

How do I reply to Vrbo guest questions?

You can view photos and messages from guests and reply to them within the client's booking in Bookster. No need to log into Vrbo :)
