Selling extras in holiday rentals
We've added some swish new options to our Add-ons and Extras and Promo codes features, with more flexibility, new features, and the ability to apply across multiple properties. Read on for more.
We are pleased to present the enhancement to the Add-ons and Extras and Promo Codes sections of Bookster property management system.
The development has been created with the needs of our clients in mind and we're very excited to launch this now.
The goal is to swiftly create features to attract repeat guests, price sensitive guests and add extra value to your services.
Manage your properties with ease
The enhancements have been implemented to support our clients manage their Add-ons with an even slicker process.
The new feature applies to the following options:
- Add Extras such as ‘Romantic pack on arrival’
- Add Free extras such as ‘Free welcome pack’
- Add Fees and Charges such as ‘Cleaning fee’
- Add Promo codes such as Return Customers Discount code for encouraging repeat guests.
With this feature you had the options to:
- Turn on and off as you wish
- Add notes for the cleaners so they are informed of any pre-arrival tasks required (eg, Leave a welcome pack).
What’s new with Extras / Add-ons / Promo Codes?
1. Apply to property flexibility
This feature has boosted flexibility for clients with multiple properties as it can now be applied across:
- Just one property
- Several properties
- All properties at the same time.
2. Apply to date and channels flexibility
The feature also permits extra levels of flexibility to allow:
- Date periods to apply (Pro & Agency packages)
- Channels to apply the Extras (Agency package only).
New Add-on type: Flexible Discounts
We have created a new exciting option to attract price sensitive guests.
This provides 2 discount options which can be applied to bookings:
- A '% discount', or
- 'Fixed amount discount'.
You can now also:
- Apply a 'discount' to 1 property, multiple or all properties in a click (All packages)
- Add a discount for a pre-defined period (Pro & Agency packages)
- Choose the channels to apply the discount (Agency package only).
New view: Online / Offline
We've made it even easier to see what discount, extras and promo codes have been created! Now you can see at Add-ons in a glance:
- Which Add-ons have been created
- All Online Add-ons
- All Offline Add-ons.
